Security Inspection — Anti-Hijacking Procedures

① Guidance Staff
Check the validity of passengers’ boarding passes, receive carry-on luggage, and place it properly on the conveyor belt for the monitor operator to inspect.

② Monitor Operator
Review the X-ray images of the luggage to ensure that no dangerous or prohibited items are being brought onto the aircraft.

③ Sorting Staff
Separate luggage that has passed inspection from those that require manual inspection (opening).

④ Manual Inspection Staff
With the passenger’s consent, open the luggage to check for dangerous or restricted items that cannot be brought on board.

⑤ Body Inspection Staff
Monitor passengers passing through the metal detector and perform a body check if the detector reacts.

The inspections are carried out by teams of six members.

Shift Monthly variable working hours system (within 40 hours per week)
Work Hours Example work schedule
① Day shift: 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. / 6:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
② Overnight shift: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. (next day, with sleeping break)
Requirements

・ High school graduate

・ 18 years or older (in accordance with the Security Business Law)

・ Applicants must have Japanese nationality, permanent residency, or long-term residency status (in accordance with legal requirements)

Salary Increase and Bonus
Salary raise: once a year (May)

Japanese Level Since obtaining a national certification is required, a Japanese proficiency level of N2 or higher is necessary.
